Join our Board

There are many ways that you can become more involved in TiE YE. At the beginning of every semester we request applications to fill recently vacated positions in our officer board. The positions and their descriptions are available on the Officer page. The application process consists of submitting a brief application along with a cover letter and resume, followed by an interview with the TiE YE Board.

Join an Event Steering Committee

However, there are many other ways to get involved. Many of the larger events we put together are coordinated by a steering committee. For example, every year we host an Entrepreneurship Conference with a number of other campus organizations. If you are interested in joining the steering committee for the conference or for another event, please contact us.

Become a Member

TiE YE is one of the few professional organizations on the Berkeley campus that is open to all-majors and does not require you pay a membership fee. To become a member simply attend one of our events and ask to fill out a membership form. Students wishing to get more involved may contact the TiE YE board for more information or can join our Mailing List online.

Fundraising

In order to provide the great services and opportunities that we do, TiE YE must constantly seek corporate sponsorships or plan fundraising events. In the world of entrepreneurship, oftentimes it is not enough to have a great idea. Half the battle is always finding the funding to carry out your vision, which is why fundraising is such a valuable skill to have.
